I know you were... Just a way to start a conversation... I live in the Oregon Cascades, about 47 km from the city of Roseburg, OR, pop 20,000. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA, pop "to big". The local post office is Glide, OR, pop "very small" and that's about 18 km away... The great thing of living where I do is that I only have to travel about 800 meter to go to work...

Even though I think your truck is outstanding, I don't think I'm in the mood to trade... I purchased my '07 new in February of '08 and it's paid for... I have put half again the purchase price into it and I am proud of the results. I am not finished yet... It only has 10,800 km on her... It's still new to me... I have a question for you. Canada is a very large country, where do you live exactly? It's great to meet people with the same interests...

He lives in south Calgary. It is not running yet. It still needs wheels, brake lines, all the wiring and the interior finished. You may have seen it on the car hauler going back and forth to the body shop. He has been busy at work and not made any progress on it over the last few months so I would not expect to see it on the road until next summer.

I didnt mess with any retaining clips? Just compressed the spring and pulled the rocker arm out them pulled the lash adjuster out. very easy job, getting the valve cover off is the hard part

I have a pic of a bracket I made to hold the lights in place. Basically, it just a piece of 1 1/2 wide steel that is bent and drilled for stability. Some guys just drill throught the fiberglass grill support but I find the lights move too much for my liking.
