Hi Dave, I also have the same problem with KW-NT3HDT no news/weather/scores (travle info icon) is grayed out all the time. Did you find solution? JVC help desk told me to e-mail to clear channel, but I never heard back from them.

thanks for the heads up, i saw it yesterday. do you know if it will play wav files off of the sd card or a usb drive? (I rip them in both mp3 & wav because my home receiver plays wavs). i was bumbed about the mono sub too. I don't buy the "directionless" nature of low bass, especially when double bass drums are panned hard right and left.

Sorry to see you're part of the club, I got hit a few years ago. I'm curious what you think of your JVC KW-NT3HDT once you've run it through the paces and lived with it awhile. I bought a kw-nt1 just before those came out.

I believe the PKALL comes out of the box ready to go, but I always download the most updated firmware anyway.

Hey dave, your welcome, hope you were able to view my albums. As far as the surround piece, it was a Metra kit and I'm not sure what the number is, I think it is 9512, but I'm probably wrong. I try the search function in the audio section of the site and see what I can come up with, though it won't be until tomorrow night or maybe even Sunday before I can get back to you.
