That was it, Jack. The trucks running great. Programmer makes a big difference. Trans. shifts are much smoother and take off is easier. I cant wait for my custom tunes. I dont know what I would have done without your help and advice. Thanks again.

Thanks again for all youre advice it seems to have worked. I cleaned the TB and MAF today (TB was extremly caked with grime and deposits). I let the truck idle for about ten min. afterwards and it settled in at the 700rpm range which is much better than the 450-550rpm range it was idleing at before. As soon as this tropical storm clears I'll take it for a drive to see how it runs but I'm pretty sure, that with youre help, the problems gone. Ill let you know.

Alright I'm gonna go ahead and order a new rubber gasket for the TB and get this done as soon as I can. Thanks for the help. I hope this works.

Do you think that the PCM, before it was reprogrammed, had learned to deal with this issue and thats why it never threw a code before the programmer?

Yea, I guess Ill take the TB off and see if its got carbon build up which I hear it most likely does. I have a CAI so it'll be pretty easy because its right there. If it does have build up what do you reccomend I clean it with? I have to believe it is the TB because I'm idleing rough sometimes below 500rpm but mostly between 500 and 600.

Yea, the consensus seems to indicate a problem with the throttle body in reference to that code.. Couldn't it also just be a the TPM sensor on the throttle body? Either way whats the easiest way to diagnose either issue?

Jack, that same code was trown today. It reads: P0506 Idle Air Control (IAC) System RPM Lower Than Expected. I cleared it again today. Please advise.

Should I reset to stock everytime I disconnect the programer i.e. battery disconnect and updating the gryphon using the PC ? No, right? Only when I think there is a chance of a reflash, right?

When should I connect the programmer to my PC? At my first convenience? In other words is there anything before I get my custom tunes that needs to be done via PC hookup?
