Hi Jake, Here's the story I do have a four wheel drive truck making it taller than a two wheel drive truck. I installed a 2" leveling kit then I went with AMP Bitterroot wheels which have a back spacing of 4.53", 17"s by 8.5"s. The tires I chose are Toyo Open Country MTs, 34/11.50 R17 are the spects. The tires are 34.1 inches tall and 11.6 inches wide. With the leveling kit my tires do not rub and there was no trimming. The combination lifted the front end of my truck a little less than 4 inches. Your truck, being 2 wheel drive, may need to use 33s instead of the 34s I have. Going with 11.50s instead of the 12.50 widths that most people select has its advantages, better handling is the most important issue for me since I live in the mountains and have many more curves to navigate than most. Plus I didn't take as big a hit with the mpg as 12.5" wide tires would have. I hope this is the info that you requested. Feel free to ask more...
