    No, it’s mounted to the truck. I made blocks that used the factory mounting bolts, and then attached the box to the mounting blocks.

    How did you end up mounting the box into the truck? ie mounting it to the floor, or just leave it free?

    Yes you can put someone on the seat. It is totally functional, the arm rest goes up and all. However the seat doesn’t have as much padding as the OEM.

    dude love the box and as you said way cool for doing on the fly but could you carry some one on the box if you had to? i some times have to bring five other people to the job sites with me and i use that space for there a*# to set thanks

    as for the holes, I cut them out with a jig saw. the wood I used was 3/4" MDF. no sory I don't have measurements for this box, I used the jump seat as a template the whole box was built on the fly in a weekend.

    nice sub box, im glad i saw this because im about to go down that road myself. Questions: how did you cut the circular holes for the subs? And, do you have the measurements and specs on the pieces you used? What kind of wood did you use? Thanks
