Sorry, I was a little tired when I responded to your question... The brush guard on the black truck in my set of pictures is a WAAG. The image is from customers pictures on the WAAG web site... www.waag.com/clubwaag/showroom.php I posted that picture because I want to do something like that with lights to my own truck... I like the PIAA light system but I have decided to go with Lightforce 175 Stryker units...

Actually it wasn't that bad to install. First I had to remove two bumper mount bolts. Replaced them with two 1/4 inch steel plates on each side with longer bolts. The outside 1/4 inch plate was a "T" shaped l mount which fit through the opening in the bumper. Now comes the interesting part. The grille guard is all one piece and weighs 85 lbs. and needs to be aligned with the "T" shaped steel plates. If you had two friends they could hold it in place while you slipped in the four 1/2 inch bolts, or you could do what I did. I used two 15 foot come along straps and draped them over the rafters in my car port. I measured carefully the height then drove my truck in place the rest is history. The hardest part was breaking lose the original Ford bumper mount bolts. That's the story...

To find out more go to www.goindustries.com.

No it's not WAAG. I looked a long time before I found what I was looking for, one piece fully welded 1.9" tubular steel. It's very strong. The built in step is very handy for engine access and I did not have to remove the tow hooks. It's made by Go Industries, Rancher Grille Guard. I purchased it from www.truckaddons.com. They had the best prices. It weights about 85 lbs, therefore you may need help with the installation. I hope this helps. Let me know if you require any further info.
