Yes I painted them. There is a goood thread in the apperance section called "Painted My Headlights"!!! that gives a good step by step. Basiclly you remove the headlamps and put them in the oven for 10-15min at 250 to soften the sealant Ford uses. Than I used a leatherman tool and some screwdrivers to pry all the sealant out. When you get it all apart you will have 3 peices. The lens, the chrome part and the back. I used some 320grit sandpapper and scuffed up the chrome and then taped the areas I did'nt want paint on. I painted them with Krylon Fusion Satin Black paint and then put the whole assembly back together and sealed them with some black RTV. In the end This project took me 5-6 hours from start to finish and I've had no leaks in the lights yet.
