ok thanks a lot. that sounds good i just wanted the advice of a veteran so i at least knew what ballpark i was in.
-
ya it sure was. I called about 4 off-road and performance shops in Houston and they all wanted around $200 or more so yes it was competitive. I had it done for $75 which was the best i could find. Hey do you know how often I should get it aligned now that the front is lifted?

i actually had it done today at a little place another member referred me to. thank you for the offer though. ill let you know the next time i need some help

hey,
i just received my 2.5" level kit from hellbentsteel.com and i need it installed by a certified tech but i dnt want to pay the usual $200 to an offroad shop. i live in Houston and i got a reference from another forum member that you did his an did a good job.
i have 2 questions for you:
are you a certified tech or whatever (aka do you officially know what your doin)?
how much do you charge?
thanks i look forward to hearin back from you

when installing the rough country AS kit did you have to turn the shock/strut 180 degrees when reinstalling? I had to on my 2008.

Thanks for the help. I think I am gonna get a set of the Moto Metal m0951 in black (20"x9" w/5.71" backspacking and 18mm offset) and run Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2's (LT275/65 R20, 34.1"x11"). I have ordered the 2" AS leveling kit and lift block for the rear and am gonna install them sometime in the next few weeks. Any thoughts/reccomendations on this set up is appreciated. Thanks.

I just read your write up on installing an AutoSpring leveling kit on an F150... excelent. Thank you. You seem to be knowledgable on this so I figured you might be have a little insight on the wheel/tire set up? I have an 09 4x4 SCrew and am wondering what the largest tire I can fit on a 20" rim (5.75" backspacing) is without doing any trimming and after installing a 2" leveling kit. Thanks in advance.
