well the front flares have to bolts at the front but other than that, it just a lot of hard pulling. if your not intrested in saving the xmas tree pins that push up from the bottom you can cut them off on the top side of the flare.

Did you take off your flares, and install the new ones? I own a 06 FX4 and i just bought painted smooth Lariat ones to install. It looks kind of tricky to take off the old ones, especially with all them clips on the back of the new ones. Any help would be great. Thanks Al
