oh yeah I live in town, and Summit is about 40 mins away from me as well down here in Georgia, I figured Id do them first and see how it does without the shims, I was just curious since you went down about what a good 3-4 inches in your rear from stock, with removing your 4x4 rear block then the drop shackles so I thought Id asked if you needed them or not with yours and if you had any issues without them. thanks for your time!- Tyler

No, the DJM set does not come with shims. And my truck did not need them anyway. When you put on drop shackles, your changing the pinion angle, and every truck will take a different amount before it starts to vibrate. You'll never know how much your truck will handle until you try it. My recommendation, if you live somwhere where you can get parts right away, then just get the shackles. If your out in the middle of nowhere, then get the shims too before you put on the shackles, that way if you need the shims, you don't have to wait a week to get them. You can always sell them if you don't need them.
Myself, I live in the Cleveland area, and Stylin Trucks is 20 mins away, and if they don't have it, Summit Racing is only an hour away.

Hey man your truck is really sharp, I was curious Ive been looking to do rear drop shackles on my 07 2wd , A lot of people are sayin go for the Ground Force shackles but those like you have the DJMs are quite cheaper on price, but do not include the shims like others say that might be needed, I was curious did you use shims? If so did you order them seperate since I dont think they are included with the DJM shackles or are they? Thanks any help would be great.. thanks - Tyler
