Did you need to get a front end alignment? And are front your tires nice and straight up and down and not cambered out at the bottom? I would like a 3 and 3/4" gap, i just don't want to have my tires cambering out at the bottom. I hope i will be able to achieve that. 2 large spacers would only drop mine from 5 1/4" down to 4 1/4" . Thats why i'm thinking replace 1 full spacer with a half one, and aim for 3 3/4" gap.

You went with two full spacers and now have a 4 1/4" gap from top of tire to wheel well lip, right? What if i were to go with a 1/2 spacer and a full spacer for a 1 1/2" total, what would the gap between the tire to wheel well lip be you think? 3 3/4" ?

I called Belltech today, and politely told them that by their instructions, that it shouldn't have dropped that much. I began to tell them that i now need to get it all redone and pay the spring shop and alignment shop again for errors in their instructions. The guy was very good about it, then i asked how good is your customer service, he said we'll take care of you. Fax us the charges of both shops bills, and we'll pay them for you! He apologized again, and said that they just took off the instructions how to install the drop shocks off their web site. Do you have a email i can send you the pdf file off their website i downloaded. It's much more detailed then the one in the box i got anyway. I put on the new pictures of it in the light.

That is how mine is sitting now. According to their install diagrams, if you use a OEM spring no spacers drops it 2". And if you use a Belltech lowering spring along with the Belltech drop shock with 1 spacer, you get a 3" drop! So i thought i was getting a 1 1/2" drop by adding 1/2" spacer. So it looks like the OEM spring is the same size as the Belltech spring, because the 1/2" dropped it around 3". I got with my shock kit, 2-1" spacers and 2-1/2" spacers per shock. I'll get you some pictures later today when the sun is out. Back to the shop it goes, man i wish i had my own tools! Later Al

    Hey Red,

I put in my Belltech drop shocks today. I went with my own OEM springs and put a 1/2" ring (spacer) thinking that by the diagram in the instructions, it would drop 1 1/2". But no it dropped down to a height of 1 3/4" from 5 1/4". The diagram said with a OEM spring and no spacers it would be a 2" drop. 1 spacer for a 1" drop, so i went in the middle with a 1/2" spacer. Did this happen to you too? I want the gap between 3" and 4". Did you use your stock OEM springs? And if i remember you said you used 1 spacer for a 1" drop too. I have pictures, i'll upload them now. Al

My front sits right now without any work done on it at 5 1/4". And the rear with the blocks out and the 1 1/2" drop shakles it's at 5 1/2". So i am still 1" to high in the rear. Dam! I'll post a pic as it sits right now without the front being touched.

Hey Red, Well slowly but surely it's coming together. I finally received the 1.5" Ground Force lowering shakles last week and put them in today. I also took your advice on the Belltech adjustable drop front shocks. Getting these part from the USA take for ever through the shops up here. So along with the taking out of the blocks, and putting in the 1.5" drop shackles, it now sits 5 1/4" from top of the tire to the rim of the wheel well. What are your measurements there? I'd like to know what heights in the front and the back are, before i know what height to set the drop shocks. Thanks for every bit of advice, i really appreciate it. Al
