New Owner

Hello, First post. I bought my BW two months ago, a guy brought it to my house, in the dark, on a flatbed. I looked at it with a flashlight, LOL. Bought it and the next morning was out in the driveway, before the sun came up, to see what I had bought. It was, is, gorgeous. 88,000 miles. He put dual exhausts on it, it sounds like a 60s muscle car. The tonneau cover works, but not with buttons on remote or on ceiling. He put new switches behind the back seat. Oh, I'm in central Florida. I towed my camper with it last week and was really happy. I replaced my F-350 crew cab fx4 diesel, and wasn't sure if it would be up to the task but it did great.

Put 8K HID's on the headlights but still need the fog lights, wanna switch all the lights to aqua or turquoise.
Idk if you can tell but I put an exhaust on it kinda like the Ford Lightning but only dual tips, it sounds nice in my opinion, it has a Flowmaster 40.
My BW and My Brothers 100 year Anniversary Ford Harley Davidson(And yes it is SuperCharged, with Slottered and Drilled disc breaks & a tonneau but of course not powered).

Turning loose of my baby?

Hello everyone...I've read the forums for quite a while before actually joining. I've enjoyed my BW for a good while now and am considering passing her on to pursue another vehicle I've long wanted. If anyone is interested...feel free to leave me a message.

1 of 3356 ever made. Runs very strong, drives, stops properly...nice to look at as well. Not perfect, but very nice. If you're looking for one of these, then you know what it is. Just over 100K miles. Excellent leather interior. Dutch doors and tonneau work nicely, excellent carpet, lighting and stainless in the bed. More pics available for those truly interested. In love with this truck but am pursuing another interest at this time...will trade for late 50's-early 60's landau coach or early to mid 70's 4x4 SWB Ford in comparable condition. Appraised at 14,5K the way it sits...I am in NO way asking or wanting that amount. Best cash offer above 8K will get her if buying outright is what you want. Please be respectful/reasonable with any offers...Thanks!

Finally bought a Blackwood after all these years. I thought they were way cool when they came out - but 52k was way out of my range (bought an 02 Supercrew instead for 21k - which I still have, 196k on the odometer). We were looking for a spare vehicle and came across the Blackwood for $7k, and couldn't pass it up. Only 125k on the odometer. It's got it's problems; tonneau, 17" Navigator wheels, nothing in the front console except the key switch (not connected to anything), service engine soon light (came on the day after I bought it), etc. Hopefully I'll be able to straighten out some or all of the issues over the next year or two.

Blackwood Cargo Organizer

Hey Everybody,

Owned. Blackwood for years. Sold it 3 years ago and have not been the same. I kept the OEM Blackwood cargo organizer just to keep something from by best truck.

I am now going to part with it. Pic’s attached. Would like to sell for $200.

Any interest let me know. These are SUPER HARD to find.

New Blackwood owner. Just acquired a NM model with 62k miles

Two defects: When switching to AM on radio, after a few seconds the sound starts to warble or flutter. Using the fob, the lid closes, but then opens. Using the overhead button, it closes okay.

The vehicle has chrome spoke wheels with narrower spokes than OEM. I need to check the spare which is said to be original wheel. Can anyone post a photo of the NM wheel?

Long time Blackwood owner

I bought my Blackwood used in 2004 with 13K miles on it - now has 76K. It came with the Putco stainless overlay grilles, Jet performance chip, dual exhaust, and Pirelli Scorpio PZero tires on it. I lowered it with Eibach truck coils, modified F150 drop shackles, adjusted the air ride pivot to lower the ride in the rear, MMR cold air intake with Granitelli MAF sensor, and added 20" wheels with similar height tires to stock. Currently off the road due to core support replacement from rust (common in PA salt mines for roads). Plan to be back on the road with it soon.
