How is the air suspension compressor bolted in. My compressor is flopping around a lot while running.
TIA

Air suspension vibration dampers

I don't remember the name of the place but I bought a set of 3 vibration isolation dampers. They popped up when I was searching for air suspension air bags. $28 I think. Exact replacement for the shot ones.

Thanks gtmopat! I replaced the three air compressor grommets and it is like new.
Next up is the creaking body mounts. Anybody deal with those already??

TIA
Frank
Bought my one owner BW 8 years ago with 3K miles. Now has 77000.

Bushing replacements

I found the replacement bushings on this site. I believe it was the carid .com that sold them. The link wasn't spevific on whuch model but I chose the upsize lariet 150 and probably should have chosen the smaller model. I replaced the three back bushings and not very front ones. Original bushings have metal insert which comes down through the frame mounts. You either have to lift cab reallyyyyy high, or cut the metal insert from the bittom with some type of mdtal cutting wheel.
My problem was the metal inserts in new bushings were too tall, so bushings didn't cinch tight, had to remove bushings and slice an eighth of an inch off.
Improved ride by hundred percent. Lifted body so the trim strip actually followed from the front to the back.

Hello Blackwood Forum,

This is Marco Mendoza from Chihuahua Mexico and this is my first post in this forum. I just bought a 2003 Blackwood last week, after years searching (and saving money) for one of these.

This would be my toy, not only because it is special, but also because it burns gas like crazy!

I hope I can learn a lot from this forum and I will be here if you guys need anything from me.

Regards,

Congratulations! It's beautiful and I know you will enjoy it. Do you know what/it there are any difference between the US 2002 and the Mexican 03?

I was down in Puerto Vyarta a few weeks ago and kept my on the look out for a Blackwood, but no luck. Mine is a 2002.
