I think in '03 Ford is planing a Lincoln 'Redwood'.

I have been trying to come up with some clever saying about a Lincoln Cherrywood, a Lincoln Basswood and a Lincoln Dollywood.
I almost got there with Dollywood. Just put some Dagmar front bumpers on it ala the '55 Cadillac, paint it pink and no-one would care if they never saw a pink tree.

We just finished day two of the after Christmas "Buyers Remorse" returns at our new super HobbyTown and my mind is mush.

The Blackwood will only be offered in black. But, if you really want a different color, wait until year 2 of the production. Lincoln is not being too smart on this vehicle, in my opinion. They are only offering the one color and it will only be a two wheel drive vehicle. I believe that there is only 1 option out there and that is some sort of a GPS navigation system. I am sure that it will be a nice truck, but I don't want to pay for options that I will not use. If you want close to the same thing, try the Ford F150 Supercrew King Crew. Absolutely beautiful--4 Captains chairs and plush leather seating. The only problem I had was that no one would order one for me without charging me MSRP! I settled for the F150 Supercrew Lariat and am very happy with that!!

 

What about the MorningWood edition they will be releasing late next year?

i believe it will have a harder body.

Depending on the sort folks who actually buy this thing, do ya think Marketing might re-name it the Lincoln "Peckerwood"?

 

I actually think it was a good idea...but they went about it all wrong.

They should have not named it Blackwood for one.
They also should not have put that god-aweful paneling on the bed. Looks like the Griswold family Truckster.
They should also offer a flareside ext cab version, as well as the Super Crew variant. Maybe even a 4x4 version. All in all, I think if you want a truck...buy F.O.R.D....not a one off hybrid. I do like the Nav. front end though...they should also put the Nav. powerplant in the F-150s. 5.4L DOHC, 300+HP...hell yeah.

How about the Lincoln Knock-on-Wood version?

 

They could put a S/C on the DOHC 5.4L and black it all out..no chrome, no hidious paneling on the side....and call it the "Lincoln Ivegotwood"

Burnt Anti-Freeze Smell
The Anti-Freeze seems to leaking but the fluid level hasn't gone done any
This has Caused a Coil to go out
The passenger side Door-Lock went out
The driver side Door-Lock went out
Muth Signal Mirrors Reflective Backing Cracked All To Hell
