the 2" drop shackles??

I installed mine a few months ago and have no complaints, but I read that you should wait until you put the rear back on the ground before tightening the shackle bolts.

I did not do this, and am wondering if I should loosen and re-tighten them.

Tighten after it's settled on the ground. In your case, I don't think it matters now.

 

I was in the same boat a few months ago, and finally I loosened all 4 nuts and retightened them while on the ground. I think it took me 10min and gave me a clear concious in the process.
