Quick question, are the alignment specs for stock Ls the same as the standard F-150 flareside shortbed?

I'm having a real front end problem that is getting worse with EACH trip to the dealer for a fix.

All I wanted was the clunk fixed, took her in @ 11800 miles, the fix worked and the front was aligned "supposedly".

4000 miles later the inside 1 1/2" of both front tires was worn to the belt. I was on a road trip and had to spring for 2 retail F1s. Of course the dealer said:

a) you're past 12k so it'll cost...

b) you must've curbed/four wheeled/ran over elephants etc... so it'll cost.

Took it back and guess what? It suddenly needed a camber kit now that it's past 12k and guess what? It'll cost me... this is getting old... This dealer must have a single handed mission to get me to convert to the bowtie crowd (that Avalanche is looking cool, oh I forgot it just don't have that whiiiine).

Looks like they used the regular f150 specs. Tell the dealer to call SVT , the Lightning uses different specs.

Does the truck turn real easy, and feel real sensitive to steering wheel imputs? I am no alignment expert, I got those specs from SVT before I took my truck in for a allllignment the other day.

I would bring it to a place that specializes in alignments, and show them the specs I gave you, they will know what to do.

 

That is exactly how it feels, the truck is very sensitive and flighty with a definite left pull.

The problem is that the tires are cupping. I've already got 2 new tires and am going to make another appointment to request 2 more and to undo the clunk fix. Ever since I've had that clunk fix, I've had problems with the front end.

 

same here, since i got the new a-arm bolt (lower) i can't get it to go straight down the road! It pulls to the left, even on 2 lane roads where there is a Crown!! all the free ford alignments are wrecking my wheels!!! these are the latest specs. they did,,,Camber (both) 0.5 castor Leftside, 6.6 castor right, 6.6 tow left -0.01 tow right, 0.10 cross camber 0.0 cross castor -0.0 this is right from my printout,,,,, all i know is the truck went straight down the road before and with the driverside lower a bolt replaced and sliding around almost 7/16ths of and inch!!!
