Post Canadian SVT Club

Hi all,

I haven't posted on your site b4 as I am not a F-150 or lightning owner.

I am however a SVT owner and wanted to bring this to the attention of any SVT owners in Canada. There is an initiative to get local SVT Club chpaters across North America and I am trying to gauge interest for those of you that live in Canada, and mainly in Southern Ontario (but anyone in Canada please reply).

If you are an SVT owner in Canada please send me an email at svtenthusiast@yahoo.com.

Thanks all I appreciate it.

alessandro

Got the clear corners from the F150Online store. 1 week to your door. Excellent service.

(Said behind cupped hand) I like the 2001. I can't stand when there is something better out there. We'll see though. Not a lot of action so far.

Hey Snakepit, where in Hanmer ? I was born and grew up there before moving to Toronto. Lived on Morrie Crt, off of Michelle Dr. I still go up every couple of months to see the folks. I didn't even think there was an SVT dealer north of Barrie

Man, that's too weird. We're talking about a town in the middle of nowhere. (Said smirkingly, coming from a guy who lived for a year in Hastings, Nebraska!! LOL)

Snowplow,
I'm on Dominion Dr. Bought the truck at Summit Ford in Rexdale. I had a 98 Cobra vert before the lightning.
Hey What04,
Where's Cambridge???

Hey Snakepit,

Now, now. Let's not be sensitive. Just trying to have a little online fun. You gotta admit, two people from Hanmer owning Lightnings is a little odd.

Anyway, if your map is torn, Cambridge is 60 miles west of Toronto. Beautiful little town where nothing much happens. Well of course there was the flood of '73 or '74 (can't remember which). And when the city bought its new aerial fire truck, and tipped it over putting out a basement fire. Those are the two times when Cambridge made the front page of the Globe & Mail.

Don't live there anyway. Just work.

All in fun.

Well if 2 people owning Lightnings from a small town in the middle of nowhere is a coincedance, then get this.... I bought mine at Summit Ford in Rexdale as well I also had a 98 SVT Contour before my L. Hanmer is about a half hour NORTH of Sudbury which is a part of Vally EAST....Can you say fairly French comminuty . At least I am not going to be in for a 400+ Km drive for service

Snakepit, send me an Email (bowerina@aci.on.ca), and maybe we can hook up to chat and compare L's when I come up at Christmas time to see my folks. Also if you plan on using your L in the winter I highly recomend Bridgestone Winter Duelers....they got me though last winter beautifully.
