Cool Finally did first performance mod.

I finally did my first performance mod to my truck tonight. (thanks to Noelvm's Wholesale Club & Bulk Discounters)

Hooked up a ProM that we go via group buy...Noel's pics made it an easy install (thanks again!) Click the image to open in full size. I over tightened and snapped the first mounting bolt, but 25 cents an a near Home Depot fixed that problem quick...Had to do a bit of grinding with my dremmel on the K&N filter, the hole for the temp sensor was way to small.

Heheh, first time I laid into the throttle after putting the ProM on, the supercharger whine scared the heck out of me. Click the image to open in full size. Stock boost gauge now easily swings past 10...

Still wierd to here the vacuum go after turning the car off...heh.

Thanks for setting it all up Noel!

Daniel

Same with me. The mod additions have been so bad that when I tell my wife I'm finally through, she just laughs

Yeah, I'm excited about that. I've been waiting for the chip wars to settle out and see who came out on top... SHM, PSP, SuperChips, Diablo, JohnnyL, HyperTech, etc...

I think I'm going to take the SuperChip R9 program, I've liked what I've heard lately about its performance and shift points...

After that, I think either the exhaust or suspension lowering are next...then some slotted/drilled breaks and bigger calipers for the front... Click the image to open in full size.

Did a single-bore throttle body ever come out yet for us? (One that dosn't require welding)
