Question Getting Wax off black bumper plastic?

I would like to know how to get dried wax off the rear bumper and the side steps? What should I use? I get a little careless when waxing my truck.

I had a detail shop tell me to use mineral spirits, but haven't tried it yet.

That black pebbly plastic is a real pain to clean. Two things that worked for me:

1) Time, and heat, it seems after a few weeks the Arizona sun won again.

2) 303 Protectant, this stuff is great, it is for all plastics everywhere, it is a UV screening product. This seemed to soak into the plastic and remove the wax. Also great for vinyl tonneaus and everything on your L...

By the way I tried lighter fluid and an ultrasonic toothbrush, not much help.

This 303 stuff looks like the greatest thing since sliced bread and for $5.00 shipping they offer a free sample kit of all their products. I'm sending my check today. Thanks!

Here is what I've used before:
Dawn and Water and A firm toothbrush.
Works good, mineral sprits might be better.
