Talking Lightning Racing WTR SCCA.

I have been racing the Lightning instead of my Camaro SS this year. It has been a blast. No one expects to get it handed to them though the cones in a truck. I have beat Camaro SS, C5 Corvettes, BMW M3s, current body MR2s, Miata, S2000s, Evos, RX7s, RX8s, and WRXs just to name a few. I am currently 2nd place in street tire points in WTR SCCA. Here is a pic from the last race. If you havent tried AutoX it is a blast. I have always been a drag race but this is funner(Still love drag racing).

Beautiful! Got any more pics? I have AX'd with BMW's but maybe it's time to nip some cones in the L.

Damn 1%er!

Takes one to know one. You will not find many here that care about the twisties. Go to the road racing section of the NLOC message board. That's where most of us talk about 1%er stuff.

I would like to do that sometime... I have heard bad things about cracked rotors though....I would need a different tune probably, to make it easier to control when flooring it

We call ourselves 1%ers because only 1% of L owners care about the twisties (except for Rob and he enjoys a different kind of twisty).

Great shot!

I definitely found I won more when I was in the stock classes, since I moved up to street-prepared, I havn't been able to climb past 4th place yet (damn modified M3's and Porche 996's!) but I'm still trying. lol. I came in 2nd when I was in F-Stock 2 years ago...

Congrats on your placement!!

Nice pic

I am totally converted! I have at least 10 Auto X's lined up this summer.

I just did QA1s and Springs all around, can't wait to try it all out on Saturday.

I cracked my rotors drag racing not autoXing. 100mph shut downs to make the first return road is what cracked mine. Not to mention brakes are easy to get.

Yes its a rare late built white 02. How that means I have the updated heads. Right???

FStock is the perfect class for my truck. No modes needed. Once it is not my daily drive it will get some drag mods though.
