I find it hard to belive that they would street race a test mule.
That picture could be anything .....

Conversation between Ford Test engineer and his Boss....

" uh Boss, Yeah remember that datalogging test ride I took in the 2006 Lightning - Uh well uh .. the one off test mule and the $50k in test equipment is in the impound for street racing... They are goingto auction it off. But I put a bus length on a Z06 after the universal 3 honk and go.

Whats that ? Oh yeah ill come clean out my desk right after I get outta jail
Uh yeah and can you call my girlfriend and have her come down to bail me out? "

Doug

I got to believe soon enough the spy photo's will start to leak out,
and they will have some test mules on the road, but agreed
that could have been anything ???

And I think this is what the Gen 3 will look like

Roush is already selling them

That's exactly what I was thinking. That picture reminds me of the pictures you see in National Enquirer when somebody photographs big foot.

am i the only one that thinks tht the chrome bumper could be there to convince people that actually know stuff about F150s that it is in fact nothing worth a second glance? Altough I am skeptical of the racing part....

I will agree that it would be smart of ford to make it look like a regular F150 in order to keep it quite...I wonder if it had ground effects, and what exactly the front looked like...I think the raicng is supsect too...
