Some info/rumor for new L

The neighbor accross the street from my dad works at a Ford dealer. He told me today that they will skip making L's in 04. The new 05 will come out in late 04. He also metion that he read that it will come with some kind of NOS setup.
First time I've ever heard this, don't know if I should believe him or not.

It's not N2O, but I have ready about what he was talking about. Ford has designed some sort of intercooler that is hooked into the AC system. And when it builds a charge a light comes on and it will inject the cold air into the system. Similar to a shot of N20 in that it is limited, but the AC refills it. Pretty damn trick if you ask me. I'm not sure if any production vehicles will see it though...

I think that most of the time we know more about what Ford is doing than the dealers do. I wouldn't rely on them for a source of info.

I believe that the supercooler sends the intake air through an "air conditioner" for a cooler charge. At that volocity you can only cool a reletively small amount of air. So it's a temporary "shot" of cold air. Then it takes time to recharge the "air conditioner".
