04/05 Lightning at the Cleveland Int'l Car Show

Well,

I finally got around to posting .jpgs up and ready to share. The show was a blast to check out (especially driving the 2-day old '02 L there!)

Here they are and I tried to get all the tight-in .jpgs I could. I woulda' taken .jpgs of the engine, but the electric hood mech. wasn't cooperating...

My question is ... what the hell is that big flat thing on the center dash area ?!?

Ronald...

PS: I have more and will post later.

My guess on that big fat thing on the dash, is probily a heads up display. I also heard that there is going to be optional Navagation on the new Lightnings. True not true who knows.

Blue - sorry..heads up would be tight..but that is just a junk/change holder. Navigation on the other hand, would not be completely out of the question...it would fit in the radio area.

Just so you know rqbrown, this is not the 05 lightning...it is just a concept.

Mecca,

Here are your requested .jpgs..

95 Saleen,

Right, I realize it's a "concept", but have you seen the '03/'04 F-150 and full-size SUV from Ford? They have that same front-end and roughly same style rims, etc, etc. and lines.

I have a jpeg of the new rear badge. Shoot me an email and I will send it to you. It is 640x480.

With these new pics I noticed or questioned...

1.) 160MPH speedo
2.) Still 10lb max boost gauge
3.) 7000+ RPM on the tach
4.) Are there still speakers in the door?...cant tell if there's little holes or just shadow from the armrest.
5.) What is the vent behind the doors for? The only thing I could think of is to cool off the rear brakes but they are kinda far for that.

And 5b.) I'm sure this is gonna get moved to the concept forum.

1.)SWEET
2.)BOOOO
3.)Sweeter
4.)Yep, looks like treble speakers only. Factory Subs?
5.)Not a vent. Dual exhaust, two tips on both sides of the truck. I f you see the passenger side, it has the same square exhaust tips.
6.)5.....4.....3.....2.....etc
