Next Lightning?
Kappa Sigma - P' 129
its been noticed before. quite a few people noticed it the day the pics came out, just nobody started a new thread for it. search back in the older threads and you'll see
It's powered by propane, therefore no filler neck is visible.
This is really a bit of fun and I have already posted about the lack of a number of things in the engine compartment photos that would make the truck pretty non-functional in a real world environment.
Having said/posted that info, I still think it is a really nice looking vehicle and engine prototype and I can only wish we will get a fair percentage of what was presented as a concept vehicle when it finally reaches production.

The battery, and other components are under the rear cover. All the concepts do the clean engine compartment thing.
The suspension in the concept is airbags. The real one is clearly NOT going to have airbags but airbags are cheap and make loading and unloading off the trailers easy.
The truck runs and sounds great. It didnt Smell like a propane vehicle.

How does the exhaust sound compared to lets say the bassani catback? Louder? Deeper? Good enough to satisfy almost everyone and not change to aftermarket??

I believe the EPA has some sort of sound limits that the exhaust can't exceed. So thats why there will always be a market for the exhaust manufactors. That is also why the intake is closed up
It is a bit sad, though, that a lot of what we see on any concept vehicle that gets our attention and makes our mouths water is just not practical for production. On the other hand, as stated above, it does give the aftermarket people thought-starter ideas for new projects.
Thanks again for all that you and Steve did to bring us all the info and photos and of course thanks to the others who chipped in as well.
