Testament to CRP Leather restorer

2008 King Ranch, 9 years old and use CRP 2-3 times a year. Rubbed on with bare hands and left to soak in, never wiped off. takes 10 minutes per application. I don't see how so many owners have crappy dried out leather, when it take 30-40 minutes per year to keep them looking like new. Yes It's no longer a daily driver like it was when new, but it does have 70k miles on it. The only product I have ever used is CRP.

Your leather looks very good! I think you meant "CPR" (actually "Leather CPR" is the brand name).

From the outset when I was fortunate to own one of the first Castano Leather trucks I have always maintained that the leather is some of the finest ever fitted to a production vehicle...and some of the old timers will know some of the cars I have owned and can compare with !

I agree - Castano leather (from the hides of Santa Gertrudis cattle) WAS a special interior for a vehicle. I miss it now that I've sold my King Ranch.

DO take the time to maintain your leather. It's one of a kind. You might give KR Leather Conditioner a try too. I used both CPR and the KR product and I preferred KR conditioner over CPR for regular conditioning.

2008 was the last year for Castano. In 2009 they switched to Chaparral. Care is similar.

People are still amazed at the condition of my leather interior after 16 years of use. My 2001 King Ranch was "new to me" in 2004 (purchased it in Dallas and drove it home to San Diego) and there it got its first treatment of CPR. It has been the only cleaner / conditioner ever used.

It is a great product. Our leather loveseats in the house are almost the same base leather (just as thick and as close to the color as we found at the time) have had the same level of CPR over their 13 years.
