Sorry, I'll let him answer too, but they really do drive very much the same. I've driven two supercrew 3.7s and had no idea they had the V6 until afterward. I'm sure I would have noticed had I driven aggressively, but putting around and driving calmly they're not too different and it's pretty difficult to tell. It doesn't cost much more to get a 5.0 though . . .

I don't know about the rest of you,, but there is a difference between the 2002 5.4 I had and this 3.7 v6. One big difference is the drive by wire compared to what the 5.4 had.
The 5.4 had better pedal response when you stepped on it from a stop. For me this pick up is a family pick up,, not a Man's pick up.
Otherwise I really can't complain to much about it. It does get up and go once pass the lag it is has from the pedal.
Got mine from Joe Meyers ford,, they had a total 15,000 off of this model truck. If your familiar with that dealership Kmac.

I think part of the problem is that some of the 5.0 XLTs have more options, but there's a big price gap! Looks like a 3.7 is the ticket to a nice Screw on the cheap
