Link doesn't work, maybe try this one?

http://www.autoblog.com/2012/12/15/g...his-years-bar/

I don't think it'll go cheap, expect it to get into six figures right off the bat. he did the same thing earlier this year with a tractor that ended up bringing in like 500k.

Thanks for posting the correct link.

Just a great pity that those that don't need the money make even more money.

Good thing that the funds are going to a deserving cause.

Seems to me he's not making money, but raising it for charity... At a personal financial loss.

I'm sure there are people who think you make more money than you need, too. Quit being so greedy, Lenny. It's all about perspective.

Did you really just accuse me of being greedy.
How dare you !
You don't know me or what I have done in public service...freely given.

At my age of 67 no one in my life has ever accused me of that.
You have made me really angry.

I really don't understand the point you are making.

Of course I see that he is giving the money raised from this sale to charity.

I was making the point that many of those in highest realms of public office go on to make more money than they will ever need.

Our own Dear Mr Blair (Labour if you credit it), now going around the world charging £100.000 for a 30 minute speech. And being paid as "consultant" on the boards of many top companies for ...well....not doing very much.

George is in the same category.

So I'm pleased to see that at least this money is going to a deserving cause.

I was clearly being sarcastic. You know, that thing you Brits get confused with irony. Nice rant though.

How did I know it was sarcastic?
It didn't seem like it.

All I've ever done on this forum for the last 11 years is try to advise people and give help where I can, and add a little bit of humour.
Then you butt in with your clever comments which were just not needed or warranted.
You must be bored.

You want a rant and I'll give it to you....
But not here and now .

I've watched your comments over the years on other parts of the F150 forum and know you like to think how clever you are.
Well not me.

I'm not going to give you the pleasure of even looking back at this thread.

You can go to hell...and if Brad or anyone else who I once considered a friend on these forums think I have over stepped the mark....then I plain don't care anymore.

Well I just don't understand your post, and really don't understand your double rant. Where did you read in the post that GW is making even more money. I think you were off the mark.

Just because my arguments vex YOU, and some others on this site, doesn't make them especially clever.

That's far from the nastiest thing that's been said to me, or I've been called, here over the years. You should be fine. Frustration and embarrassment brings out the worst in the best of people.

So in other words...as I've ascertained from reading your comments over the years you get perverse satisfaction from "Winding people up".
Well as it's Christmas Day I'll just say "Go To Hell !!"

GTH for future reference when you see it against any of your pathetic posts.
