10th Anniv - 2002 KR - original owner

Seems time does fly.... had to do a 10th anniv detail on my 2002 KR this past weekend.... (sorry RP.. still using Zaino!)

Any other original 01-03 owners still on here that still have them? Sarah? Andy? others? (LIscrew?)

Shamefully, (due to company car) I only have 72K on it.... I think I must be one of the only suckers though though that has a KR supercrew with the rear entertainment option.... VCR in front console with 7" screen from ceiling and rear controls in back of front center console... $1200 option at the time from what I remember... I think it's cost me $250 for each time we ever used it!!! lol

Anyways... any original 01-03 owners out there - post them if you got them... other than some underbody surface rust (frame, etc) only other issue I'm seeing is a little rust bubbling on each rocker panel.... take care of it next spring.

Looking forward to seeing some posts from the old crew.....!!! Regards to all... Mike

clean truck, nice to see you take care of the seats too. Sad to see so many of those seats getting beaten up and not maintained.

Hey Mike...
Wish I still had my original F150 KR. It must have been one of the very first because I bought it from the dealer the day it arrived there, and it was the first they had seen.
Apart from the rear entertainment it was identical to yours.
And of course in those days we had the mailman knocking on the door giving us gifts as a thankyou for buying the KR.
Its a wierd coincidence but just before I read your post I was thinking about Sarah and Daveman. They were the only ones who ever made it to the King Ranch and then came on down to the Rio Grande valley to meet me in the days I was living there. I think it must be 6 years or so since we saw any posts from them.
Your seats still look good !!
Cheers !

KRC - you're lucky you're not an old timer.... back in the early days you would have never been forgiven by some of the KR fanatics for (god forbid) having trash on the floor (never mind posting a picture of it!)

Hi John! Hope all is well..... I think there were a few of us with the Charcoal Blue Screw.... wasn't it voted most favorite color back then? (easy RP... just kidding....) I remember the KR gifts... I ended up selling the ones I got.... I think I still have an entire extra rear console up in my garage attic - at one point I was going to make a cooler out it... dealer gave it to me because I had a small scratch on the rear console lid - because they couldn't figure out how to just order the lid back then, he ordered an entire console...

Whoever first suggested Leather CPR for the seats - thanks! Have been using that for the past few years and it works great! (and I only condition them perhaps 2-3 times/year)

Mike, and Coy the trucks look great! It's getting harder and harder to find the first gen of the King Ranch's that are that clean! Keep it up!

I've still got my '02, and just turned 66,000 miles on it! My seats don't look quite as good as your's Mike150, but they're close, and MUCH better than when I got it in 11/03.

Thank you. I've got it where I want it now, just use it for long road trips and deer hunting etc. I've got an '87 Toyota XtraCab 4 cyl for my running around town, parts truck! Even it is in better shape than I'm in! Ha.

I can testify to that. KR 4x4 non-step sides in that gen are *extremely* hard to find. I was looking nationally for six+ months and only found a couple.
