axels on KR's

I have a 2002 scab KR. It's got the 5.4L in it. I need to fix a wheel bearing on
the rear end. Went to auto parts and asked about the item, they wanted to know weather I had a 8.8 or 9.75 axel for the right bearing.

What is "normal" for most KR's?,, guessing 8.8 is a 4.6L axel and the 9.75 is for the 5.4L.

How do you read the tags on the axel?? Have two tags, one on passenger, one on drivers side. Which one has more information about the axel. Is there a
website to decode them.

So Complicating
The door sticker on the drivers side should have a section that says axel code and then like a 3digit number or something. Their is a thread somewhere on this forum that has all the axel codes and the specifications for that code like what size axel and what gears. You might also be able to use an online vin decoder to find out.
