2007 KR F150 w/ 115,000 miles
I have a 2007 King Ranch 2WD with 115,000 miles on it. It has always been serviced every 5,000 miles at the dealer and has new brakes, rotors, 3rd set of tires, new battery and is going strong. Most of the miles are on the freeway at 60-85 mph. The differential is a 3.73 limited slip. I live in Southern California and drive through the desert a bunch seeing the higher temperatures.
My question is what can I expect to be the first major item to go and normally at how many miles? Will it be the tranny like my 1997 F150? It went around 125,000 miles but was driven by my son after the first 3 years so who knows how it was treated!
The truck is in great shape, shines like new, leather is great and oiled regularly and you'd never know it had this many miles so I'd like to keep it longer but don't want to start hitting the major rebuild $'s.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill
