ReColoring Kit

Thinking about redying my passenger seat. Leatherworld has a kit and was wondering if anyone has tried this proceedure. This an 06 KR and back seats, front driver and arm rest look great, its just that the passenger seat looks like it has lost its color. Any infor would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard of people using a company called color new and they quoted me 300 to do all my seats... I told them I wanted the black sweat stains out and they said it was not possible but if you just have fading then maybe look into that option? How much does this kit cost?

kit runs 60-100 bucks depending on how much you order. The Color New is an option but am afraid they will color new my stiching aswell. I have an 06 and the usual picture show them airbrushing the stiches. here is the link if your interested. www.leatherworldTECH.com

I talked with a representative from color new and he quoted me $300 bucks and said that they can match any color you want, (just do front seats and make them match back ones that still look new) and they will leave the stitches white. He said that the blackish stains in the seats doesn't matter because he will be re-dying them. I will be going to him soon. He is also going to fix the small tear in my driver side seat and re-stitch it for that $300 price.

I didnt like the way the passenger seat came out, The back, console and back of passenger seat came out great. I first used super cleaner and then a light coat of dye.
my stiching did dye aswell

Okay, since the dying was done, i was worried about my stiching being dyed aswell. I got it fixed, all I did was dilute some supercleaner and used a terry cloth to rub them it out. It worked and now my stiching is clean and pops out.:o
