Need to get the back seat out

Hey,
I received the new seat covers for the KR the other day from Wet Okole. They are every bit as nice as everyone said they would be, but there is a slight problem with the back seat cover. Try as I might, I just can't seem to be able to get the vertical part of the back seat out so the cover can be correctly installed.
Here I am, trying to protect the leather from the ravages of a new puppy, but I am concerned that I may inadvertently damage that leather stuffing screwdrivers and the like in, blindly probing around for some magic "tab" to press on and release. Has anyone actually done this to their truck? I'm sorry to have to come begging for advice, but I have some time into this now and just can't seem to find the way. Those covers cost a lot of money and it's frustrating not being able to use them.
Any help gratefully accepted!
Thanks Guys,
Grady

There've been several posts on this. Here's a link that seems pretty good: http://www.f150online.com/forums/200...t-removal.html
I like the idea at the end of the thread to use a soda bottle to "hold" one side of the seat back up (once it's released) while you work on the other side. I'd probably use something "less liquid" though.

In another thread somewhere, people talked about some small modifications they did to make it easier the next time.

Looks like if you can figure out how to do it, you can reach in behind the seat back with your hand to release the catches, avoiding the screwdriver technique.

Glad to help. I've got to try this some time myself. I bought my truck used and I know the "door open" code that the previous owner used, but I don't know if it's the factory code or not. That information is "conveniently" found printed on a computer module behind the rear seat.
