New Guy; KR in North NJ

Had the truck shipped out from Missouri. It was originally owned in Nebraska though. 2006 KR with 6.5' bed! No real mods yet, but I have a short list to do soon. You guys have been a huge help in getting the leather looking good.

First I have to start by un-doing some of the things the PO did. So far I've taken off the window deflectors. Next, want to take off the front wind deflector, but need to touch up the paint where the mounting brackets attach on either side. What's the point of these things if they damage the paint? And theres a throttle body spacer that needs to come off. BTW, will I need to buy four new bolts after removing it, because I don't have the stock bolts?

The mods list; as soon as I sell some things from a Porsche 993 I had...check rennlist.com for those items. Probably install everything by end of August.

Efans: definitely want a dc controller, but not sure what fans to get yet. Or just go with a FAL 270.
Tuner: Most likely Justin at VMP
Intake: AEM Brute Force because of the dry filter
LT Tires: before winter, BFG ATKOs

Maybe Mods
Bilsteins or ranchos if you guys say there's a ride/handling improvement.
Exhaust if it's worth it for efficiency and to match the other mods, but I like the quiet stock sound.

That's all I plan. No rims, no lift, none of that. It's a daily driver with a 15 mile highway commute. I use it evenings and weekends for Home Depot and town dump runs. Sold a KTM 950 ADV and will probably carry a dirt only KTM soon as I find one and my mountain bike.

Here she is at the sellers. I'll take some pics when I have a weekend to do the touchups after removing the bug deflector.

Congrats on the new KR! You will no doubt be pleased with it, and the 6.5 ft bed. Makes hauling stuff from Home Depot easier. You might look into Gibson Exhaust...I have a Swept Side sysytem on my '02, and it is not much louder than stock, but you can feel, and hear the difference when you hit the throttle. Good luck!

Thanks guys. I'm in Parsippany, NJ.

With all of that glass this truck gets hot. There's a company called Formula One tint that makes a "clear" tint that blocks 99% of UV. Was thinking of putting that on the windshield too...

I'll check out the Gibson exhaust as well.
