Does anyone know how the king ranch emblem on the front fenders are attached? Mine is coming loose and I ordered a replacement. any info would be greatly appreciated.

My 07 KR badges are coming off also. From inspecting them, I gather that they have a sticky foam piece. I will eventually order some more...and have Ford pay for it.

Coming loose, eh? What have you been using to wash your truck?

Anyway... they're mounted with a sticky foam tape and two mounting/aligning pins. To remove, heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun... use a piece of fishing line to work in behind the emblem and lift up and off of the paint. Remove the residual with a product like goo gone or other citrus based solvent. Alcohol prep the area prior to replacing the new emblem. Make sure to get the badge sealed correctly around the perimeter of the emblem so that you don't end up trapping water and gunk behind the emblem (rust).

That, or they found a cheaper vendor for the glue they use, and it's not as good as the old stuff.
