Unhappy Ink on my KR Seats

Went to wash the car this am and noticed that there was ink on my seats. I tried removing it with a clean towel and hot water to no avail.

Any suggestions ???

As this is your first post you might have provided a short introduction to yourself before launching in with a blunt question.

Also is it just me or does your question make any sense??!

You went to wash your cash ?! ...Is it dirty money ??

The answer to your question is hidden somewhere within the leather care sticky.

Lenticular,

Yes, I went back and read my post and it was a tad confusing. I am first time truck owner ( new poster too) of a 2008 F-150KR extended bed truck. I hail from the Atlanta, GA and am a frequent reader of the King Ranch thread. I did go to the leather care page and found a short explanation from Cindy Koshinski on ball point stains.

I hope it works !

bsteele - You'll find Lenny is really a good bloke normally, but he's in the midst of transporting a KR Expy to the UK. And, I hope you noticed everything he said was "tongue in cheek".

I can't imagine the trauma he's experiencing!

However, we're a civil bunch on this forum - not like some on the "Tuners" forum, and, we like to take a few "good natured" pokes at each other now and then.

Lenny - please go out among the sheep, lie down, chew on a blade of grass and contemplate the clouds. It's just money!

Yes it does remove ink...but not extremely well. I once used an entire can to get a spot out of a Polo. Then again maybe it works extremely well on marks, and not spots. Anywho, use hairspray.

PS Its the alcohol that removes the ink... Condition extremely well after cleaning.

You're damn right I'm stressed !!

If anyone could get more 'stuff' in an expedition....I'd like to see it.
It's been like a nightmare jigsaw puzzle. Computer, Bike, Suitcases, about 15 boxes, Pictures in frames, and lord knows what else.
I've already had to buy one of those ridiculous luggage rack thingys that attach to the tow hitch just to transport the suitcases to Houston that will go on the plane with us.
Then every time I think I've got it all in, the wife hands me another 2 boxes !!

If border patrol at Sarita ( Near Kingsville) ask us to unload, you'll hear the scream in Kentucky.

(What happened to Brad anyway.....He's been very quiet !)

Haven't heard a scream yet, so I've got my fingers crossed!

Maybe, Lenny, it would have been less stressful to have just bought a hide or two of Castano leather and had them made into custom seat covers for a Bentley or a Rolls.

The more I think of it, the more a King Ranch Edition Rolls Royce appeals to me! Probably be cheaper than what your're up to now.

Get some "Running W" badges from a junkyard before you leave to put on it and you'd be good to go!

And, a glass or three of Bombay Sapphire or a good single malt will do wonders for your nerves! It's OK to "self medicate"!

I've been wondering about Brad too - of course he has to "work" for a living, unlike me (recently retired, aka "drone").

I have got some spare KR badges, and running 'W's

I have got a Bentley.

Somehow I doubt the 2 will ever get together !!!

And here it is outside the RR factory at Crewe before Bentley took over there and RR moved to Goodwood on the South Coast. (A little bit of history now)

Just get a new one and make it a "King Ranch Edition". Not hard at all, and, the steering wheel will be on the "proper" side!

Please, are you taking your "medication"?

Hey, great looking lady - who's the funny looking gent beside her?
