Question For CPR Users

How are you guys applying the CPR? Are you rubbing it in by hand then wiping off the excess? Also do you let it sit at all after you apply it. I happened by a Bed and Bath today and thought what the heck. Your help is appreciated.

Mine came in a round "tub" with a sponge applicator inside. I use the applicator. And, I don't apply it too heavily.

I'm not much impressed with it as a cleaner though. I'd vacuum or better yet wipe off the leather with a damp cloth before applying. I see it really more as a conditoner than as a cleaner (even though it says it's both).

I've not used it for very long though. I'll bet you'll get better advice soon.

use the sponge it comes with....go lightly and do two coats if you want...

it does dry quickly (rather absorb) and agree with J&J, don't use it as a cleaner persay.

Well I did find the sponge applicator and some better instructions after I opened the tub. I think it works pretty well. I am a little unhappy that it does not take care of the minor scrapes like the KR Conditioner does. It did darken them up, but the KR eliminates them all together. That is the only area where I can tell a big difference in the 2 products. It does absorb really fast. It does seem like a great product and I think I will alternate between the CPR and KR Conditioner. Without you guys talking about it I would have never even tried it. Thanks.

Its pretty common for KR owners to alternate products like that.

I usually use a warm damp rag to clean. Occasionally, I'll do the spa treatment on problem areas and the steering wheel regularly.

I love the way CPR darkens the leather.
I love the way the KR conditioner smells.
I love the way Lexol makes the leather feel.

I use those three in my rotation to condition.

I use CPR and KR both.

The CPR does darken the leather well, but doesn't clean as others have mentioned. Very easy to apply and no haze at all, no matter how thick I put it on.

I also rotate between the kr conditoner and the cpr. I use the sponge that comes with the cpr and apply it that way, and usually will do 2 coats on the front seats.
