Hello all....proud new owner of 98 F150 4WD Lariat Flareside 5.4 Supercab.
It was hit in the back when I bought it recently, frame bent, bed bent, minor fiberglass damage where bumper was pushed into bed, terrible paint job (runs everywhere, orange peel, single stage paint, blotchy)....Jeeezzz, kid did not know what he was doin!!! Looks great from 20 feet but OMG don't get too close.
Anyway the price was right as-is so I bought it!
Yanked off the bed, replaced the bent frame (just welded in a new 4 ft. section of frame from a donor truck rather than trying to bend it back into place, replaced the brakes, rotors, calipers, all the way around, waiting on my new shocks to arrive (KYB MonoMax's), and getting ready to install new used bed and total repaint.....The End.
