5.4 Stalls when hot outside or truck sits to long
My 2002 Ford F150 5.4 Stalls on high 80-90 degree days.
I'm a contractor and leave around 7 most mornings. Say once the truck gets warmed up and say I go to a drive-thru to order food and if the line is very long and I have a long wait the truck will begin to stall and the rpms go up and down and the truck wants to shut off. Say I leave in the morning and don't stop at a drive-thru and face normal morning traffic, stop lights, etc the truck is fine. Say after lunch once the temp gets to say high 80s-low 90s and I get in my truck and after say 10-15 minutes it will begin to stall. Doesn't matter if I run my a/c or not. Any suggestions??? No codes have popped up. Just seems very weird to me. I bought the truck February 2014. Started noticing the stalling in May 2014 once it started getting hot outside.
