SVT2000 (Tranny Parts)

Hi,

Hope you can help me Steve - I have a problem with the transmission on my 2000 HD (4R70W trans) - the overdrive light is flashing and it seems to be holding gears too long. After a lot of research I conclude its the solenoid body and coil that are failing. I haven't reseached any fault codes on the truck yet.

I've got a Chilton manual and it is pretty sketchy on this part, so do you haver any better knowledge and importantly, any idea on cost and leadtime in the UK?

Steve,

Panic over - I ran the codes and it is the temp sensor, so easy to fix.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Glad you got it sorted. Did you want me to get you a temp sensor?
