well first things first, buy these

http://cgi.ebay.com/2x-12V-LED-Light...3A2%7C294%3A30

i used one for each ac duct. Then buy switches, either from ebay or from radioshack. im waiting for my switches to come in so until then i cant do the write up. but it will take me like half an hour to install my switch so i can post my write up right after that.

You should put a couple down at the bottom of the dash, in the footwells. Or, a couple under the seats. I've been thinking about doing the same mod.

Another mod that would either be awesome, or totally annoying, would be to wire it to a audio sensor. Then have the lights flash to the beat of the radio.

Even though it doesn't match, red is a good choice as it won't screw with your night vision.

well my cluster is red and green so it matches pretty damn good. and i opted for softer LEDs so it would glow and not beam u in the face.. and yeah, thats the plan already. im replacing the green leds for white and some more reds.

and yeah that mod mite be a lil much.. unless u wire it to a switch to make it happen when u want it!!! thats easy tho, u just wire the leds to the red n black of ur speakers..

i saw some guy had blue in his truck awhile back..he had painted the insides of the vents, it looked like a 'glowing tunnel' more than just the led by itself...but i can't recall what he said he painted it with....sweet mod...surely a future for me

ford2004f150 was his name (i think)

I'm kinda interested in this too. I would have to have them wired on a switch because I don't think I would like them on all the time.
