yea you will have to drill and tap i think three holes if you do the 97-03 40/c/40 seats from expy of F150, but should be pretty close to a bolt in.

I would say the f250/350 seats are in the same boat as expy, you could make it work, but it wont be easy. Biggest concern i have for the 04-08 f150 seats is they may be too wide, because the truck is a couple inches wider then the 97-03s are.

I honestly haven't seen the 04-08 into a 97-03 truck, but it would be possible if you are good with tools and have some creativity.

 

I'm new to this forum and I know this is an older post but can you post pics of that rear seat and pics of actually installing the rear seat and console. I can give you my email. I have all the needed parts and a donor vehicle. I would just like some instructions for this mod right now my 97 xlt is pretty stock but it has a 9.75 limited slip rear diff instead of a stock one wheel wonder 8.8 , a rebuilt tranny with a shift kit and a stall converter and a small over bore on the 4.6 Windsor.

 

I have a 97 ford f150 singlecab, with the bench style seat witch I don't like and would like to put something in it;s place that will recline. What will fit this truck without modifaction? Any other ideas. Thanks

 

Anyone convert the 99-2003 F150 supercrew seats from a 04-08 F150 seats or the 03-08 expy?
