Leather color questions.

Has anyone ever tried wipe on leather toners/dyes? My leather seat is showing some slight wear and also on the top of my steering wheel. It's not enough for replacement but I'm looking for somthing just to tone it a little. Where does Ford hide the interior information regarding the color you have in your truck?

I found the color name on the original window sticker that came on my truck. I bought the dye from "Leather Renew", a site I was able to google up. The product was wonderful, my truck looked great!! For about a year Now, it looks like it did before I tryed to redye it. It's frustrating. I think Ford just used a cheap quality leather. I'm now considering seat covers.

I had cracks in my seat and also when I used mequires the dye that was on the seats like I bought the truck started to come off.. I took it to a guy that does leather work and got quoted 200.00 to replace the 2 front set bottoms he guarantee's a perfect match.. Might be worth looking into an upholstery shop
