Center Console question

After doing numerous searches, I still haven't got the answers. So I thought I would ask someone. I have a 2004 XL model that has the regular jump seat type console. I'm looking to buying a xlt console. The question I have is will it work in a xl model? I do know that the floor console can be installed in the same place as the jump seat without any problems. But mine has the manual 4x4 shifter on the floor, with the two drink holders. Don't know if the xlt console would fit my truck, sinse it is a little longer in length. With the floor shifter in the way, would it still fit? Maybe someone who has done this with the same setup can provide me with some answers? Thanks.
