Lightbulb Ford Website

Gang,
You can visit the Ford website and create a login under the Owner Connection section.

This section is kind of neat in that you can enter the VIN number of your truck and the mileage and they will inform you of recalls, scheduled maint...etc.

But more importantly, there is a place you can e-mail Ford directly and voice questions and problems.
Maybe if enough owners griped about piston slap, door cracks, rough idle...etc, they would take notice.

My .02
Thanks

WE usually know about the problems/recalls before Ford decides to go public with the info.
I won't give them all that personal info when I get get all I need on this site requiring only an email address.

I understand ~thanks
I went there once and didn't like that they required too much info just to get an email address. I heard they send you back a 'form email'
I'm sure however, that some people would find this useful ~the maintenence record part, not the email part.

I used the e-mail to find out about the Ford blanket info that I posted in the General Discussion section.

They got back to me with the info pretty quick.

I'm sure Andthensometoo didn't mean anything personal, but I understand her strong reply. If you aren't aware, that particular website is kind of a sore subject around here. It's all about sponsorship, taking advantage, and big brother. Here's a link to the low down: http://www.f150online.com/f150board/...ML/000069.html .
