Aftermarket headlights.

Hi I don't really know to much about getting aftermarket headlights and I'm having trouble getting info on it. I was wondering what the best find of headlights to get are? I have a 2002 f150, and was wondering if anyone has links to ones they've bought and liked? I don't know the difference, is it hid or halo? Or what? I feel dumb but just want to get information on them. Thanks a lot

Just get lightning or Harley replicas with halogens. The one piece headlights don't fit worth crap and have horrible output. If you want HIDs look into a projector retrofit don't just drop in HIDs or cheap LEDs.

Thank you! So the 2 piece headlights are the way to go? Would Harley Davidsons fit my XLT?

Nate, while Amazon is an awesome source for stuff at great prices. Sometimes you end up with a less than quality part.

I've included a link to LMC truck's catalog for 1997-2003 F150, headlight page.
They actually test fit everything they sell to make sure it will fit correctly.

With something like plastic headlights, I would pay the extra for peace of mind that they'll fit, won't turn yellow in a week, and if I have a problem their customer service will help me out.

Order a catalog from them, they have a ton of cool stuff for your truck.

I'd avoid amazon for HID or LED bulbs for them, the quality is sketchy and in the case of HID kits, at least, they draw allot of current and if the wiring isn't up to snuff you could have a fire.

If you need aftermarket headlights, the quality of SpecD and IPCW is good.
