Curious to know if any of you are interested in a group buy... if I can get enough people to sign up. I can place a bigger order directly with my overseas manufacturer and get a really good rate... I think if I can get an order for 10 complete kits (High Beams, Low Beams, Fog Lights) I can get a good deal as that's 30 complete sets of bulbs. I normally order about 30-40 kits at a time, but it's a mixture of MANY style bulbs (H13, H10/9005, H11, 9004, and others for different trucks)

Let me know. I can probably get the manufacturer to lower it enough so that I can drop the price on the group buy to 30% off normal cost.\

Again the buy would be for 2015/2016 owners (the dual-beam bulbs are more expensive, they'll be another group buy later for those)

If you are interested, let me know. If enough people show interest I can set something up to take pre-orders. Now the order would not happen till we get enough people and then after that order goes in, it's about a 10-14 (7 for manufacuring, 3 for shipping, another day or 2 for customs) day lead time before they arrive to me, and then I can ship them out.

OK the group buy is active.... here is how this works

4) Your order WILL NOT ship right away. Once we receive enough orders we'll place a master order with our manufacturer overseas to receive the big discount. We need to order about 20-30 kits (each kit consists of a pair of bulbs).

5) No matter what, we'll place the order within 2 weeks time with our manufacturer to ensure nobody has to wait longer then a few weeks from the time of this post (we'll cover the remaining discounts even if our manufacturer can't match it).

6) Feel free to add other items to your cart. However they may only ship with the headlights when they come in. Some products, like LED Light Bars, drop ship so those will ship right away (you can always PM me if you want to add other items and are curious what will ship separate right away)

7) The deadline to get your orders in is May 13th. We'll order the lights May 14th from the manufacturer.

8) Your credit card will be charged once you place an order (we have no way around that, that's how our storefront works).

That's fine. I might try and take some this weekend, without halogens (as that means taking apart the lights, don't want to go through all that work yet). But I posted this on the few sites I'm a vendor/supporter on. It's only for a few weeks. Just wanted to give the F150Online community access to the group buy as well.

 

FYI I will be reviewing a set of his bulbs. They should be in tomorrow and if so, I'll do the review tomorrow evening.

I will also take shots comparing the led in one and the halogen in the other housing.

Thanks. I try and ship the same day (for orders received before 5pm). UPS cut-off is 6pm for me which is nice. USPS orders usually leave the next day since USPS closes earlier then UPS and I don't give my packages to the postman (I drop off at USPS).

 

Your group buy says for 2015/2016 owners only but you sent a set to someone with a 2008? Does that mean your group buy has changed?

Wish these bulbs would work, but im very scepticle. Dont get me wrong, I love both my retros but I'm getting a little tired of the Chinese look. I'd love to put my black oems back in and return to a stock look.

 

No the person is 2008... I guess he has a 2008 but 2008_XL is working on something with me. I sent him a set to try out/give me his thoughts and work on some things with me. He's a special case.

Now my group buy was posted for 2015/2016 because I'm working out some things with the H13 bulbs right now. I don't have a good by on H13 just yet.

 

What happened to this Review?

 

The kit I sent him didn't work, which is what I figured would happen but I needed someone to actually test it and get me feedback since I have a 2015 my truck does not use H13 bulbs.

So he's getting the H13 kit others have been getting. It'll arrive before this weekend hopefully.

 

If it arrives by the weekend, I'll gladly do the review this weekend.

 

It goes in the mail tomorrow (so impatient this guy let me tell ya, every day "where my bulbs, where my bulbs" lol... kidding)
