Is the underwood fuse box on my 07 Fx4 a good place to get power for aux reverse/work lights?
How can I get them to turn on with the reverse lights?

 

If your truck is equipped with the Towing Package, you have one pin that is energized with the reverse / backup lights. (It's required when towing a trailer with surge / disk brakes.) But, depending on how much power your new reverse lights draw, you might only be able to use that pin as a trigger for a relay. That relay could be powered by an appropriate fuse in that under hood fuse box.
