Another great reason for retrofits is the limited oncoming glare. Heres my FXR stage III retrofit with 20" led bar next to a tacoma with 3k hid fogs and 3k hid PIAA's quite a difference in glare i'd say. I too used to be a PnP HID fanboy until i did my retro's and i'm never going back. I can't stand driving in front of guys with HID's in their lifted trucks that blind the hell out of me.

wow all I wanted was to show my light bar and look what I started well if I have any problems with my headlights lenses I will definantly consider a projector style again I know my lights have a glare but I guess it doesn't really bother me considering I don't drive in front of my truck it looks good from the driver seat so i'm happy with what ive got

So you don't care about anyone but yourself? That's pretty inconsiderate and immature.. That's very unsafe and dangerous
Also those Ebay projectors lights, I'm guessing you're taking about, are junk they aren't meant for HIDs they will glare also.

Any time someone mentions that they have PnP HIDs, this happens. While I agree with what's being said, it's fighting a losing battle. Maybe what, 5% of all aftermarket HID systems are retrofits? That's guessing on the high side. It's like this country and Europe cracking down hard-core on our emissions, while China and others are busy pumping out so much unregulated, coal-burning pollution that it's reaching our west coast . . . So strongly reprimanding a dozen people on here while every high school idiot and dumb dumb that's got 22's (with a chrome stick-on that lets everyone know what size wheels they've got) that have glaring HIDs continues to run them, does nothing but irritate people that aren't interested in getting rid of their HIDs, in my opinion.

I don't like when people with HIDs drive past me going in the opposite direction, nor do I like when they drive right behind me for extended periods of time, but it sure ain't my most hated stupid-thing-that-other-drivers-do, that's for sure . . .

I would also be interested in the bumper...you should make some more - or at least one more for my 01 Lariat.

Also, I was just looking at that same light bar - you have caused me to buy one.

Thanks for the post dude
