75 watt hid

I want a set to install in my DEPO projectors. Is there going to be a problem with heat generated by the elements themselves?

I really do believe that will melt the bowl. I did alot a reading on mine before i picked doing a Mini H1 retro and they say putting a 55 watt in a Mini H1 will melt them and the projector is about the same size as the one that comes with the depo headlights. For a comparison of the two projectors look at my thread i just made.

55 watts is more than enough.....knowing that those bulbs are not manufactured with quality being in mind....the best output would be like a 55 watt kit from TRS to begin with....

I have 55watt in my depos and they are too bright. 75watt would be a super over kill.

Overkill it is... Bought the 55s. I had a feeling the 75s were too much trouble and I don't need any more trouble!

They're not real 75Ws either. The output on those may be around 61-62W MAX. Even then, the shoddy QC is just asking for a fire.
