Just thought I would put my two cents in and say I use GE night hawk platinums. They are a little bit brighter and whiter bulb then stock and last a pretty decent amount of time. I have had mine for over a year and a half and they are still going . Don't know the price being I got them as a free sample from GE themselve.

If you have the large 04-05 fog housings, you can use the 9005 bulb without melting. It is a 65w high beam bulb, ridiculously bright in those fog housings. When I had them (Silverstar 9005) I got flashed a lot in my lifted F150 because they were too bright. But they really lit up the road well in rain and fowl weather.

If you guys want "ub3r ZOMG L1ghtz", look into Catz Zetas. In short, they are voltage boosters. Since halogens burn on a mathematical equation of exponentially increasing luminosity with voltage, it basically upping your 13.4vDC-rated bulbs to 15.5vDC (WARNING: EXTREMELY SHORT LIFE SPAN WILL OCCUR). They can be had for as little as $50/pair.
